The war between Israel and Iran escalated again on Saturday, March 7. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would keep striking Iran with “full force,” presenting the campaign as part of a deliberate and methodical effort to weaken the ruling regime. His remarks came as fresh strikes hit Tehran and the regional crisis continued to widen.

On the ground, ongoing attacks and retaliatory actions are deepening an already volatile situation. Several Middle Eastern countries remain on high alert, while the human, diplomatic and energy-related consequences of the conflict are raising concern far beyond the region. For now, there is little sign of a quick de-escalation, even though some leaders are still calling for a diplomatic path.
